The proclamation signing announcing Gifted Education Week in Kentucky was made in the Capitol Rotunda in Frankfort on January 27, 2010. Gifted students and educators shared the event with performances, speeches, and a reading of the proclamation. The event was sponsored by the Kentucky Association for Gifted Education.
